The J&L tandem express, Mark and Jim enjoyed the first cool morning ride of the fall. The sun and clear sky were warming in the open, but it was a bit brisk in the Redwoods along Lucas Valley Road. Early is good for this ride as traffic was light except for a few cars apparently heading to the pumpkin patches. There was some sponsored ride in progress out Lucas Valley Road (we saw a rest stop with water bottles), but never did find out what that was all about. Get ready for frosty mornings next month!
Jim and Mark stopped for a great cup of java in Ignacio at Lacoppa Coffee and some good conversation about bike building. With a table in the warm fall sun, the stop and coffee were very refreshing.
