Apple Ride, August 14, 2011
A fun time was had by all again this year. Weather was very nice - sunny and mild. The cycling route was the same as the previous year, but new for yours truly as I wasn't able to do it last time. For me, I discovered new bike paths out of Santa Rosa, a new bakery stop in Sebastopol (yeah!) and Florence St. (wow, what fun metal art). There was no juice making this year (the press was reserved by another group for this weekend) but apples were there to be picked for people who wanted to make pies or sauce or ... But we still had fabulous Diane apple pies with ice cream to go along with the BBQ. And, of course, a great time socializing.
